Cellulosic fiber based hybrid composites: A comparative investigation into their structurally influencing mechanical properties

This paper focuses on hybrid and twisted Indian mallow/roselle cellulosic fiber yarn mat reinforced polyester composites effects of their wood sawdust filler. The composite materials were fabricated usingcompression moldingtechnique. There four different combinations samples used, while the hybrids six. An evaluation mechanical properties for single double layer cases was done with without filler effects. tested at both warp weft directions. From results obtained direction, it observed that case, longitudinal (filler) sampleexhibited better tensile, impact flexural strength in comparison other related type reported literature. Moreover, modified andwood fillersamplerecorded significantly greater improvement when compared similar materials. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) technique utilized to evaluate morphological internal damage (cracks) fractured surfaces various samples. Based performances further practical evidence, these two types eco-composites used effectively fabricate tri-wheeler auto-wheel hubs ceiling fan blades, as applicable automobile electronics industries, respectively.
